These are an essential for all. The hidden black zipper on the inside offers a seamless way to slip these boots on and off, a small but impactful design detail.
Their tall shaft height and lack of hardware ensure they pair effortlessly with everything from midi skirts to maxi dresses. Whether styled with handbags with gold or silver accents, these boots are a neutral anchor to any outfit.

True to Size: The boots fit true to size for the foot length. As a size 7.5, they fit comfortably without pinching or tightness.
Heel Height: The heel comes in at 2 inches, which is absolutely perfect for just about everything, like walking long distances in the city.
Calf Circumference: With a listed circumference of 16 9⁄16″, the boots were a little bit narrower in person. See the image below. The circumference is actually closer to a 15.5. For calves like mine (15.5 inches), the circumference of the 37.5/7.5 US was JUSTT right and even a little tight. Sizing up to an 38/8 UK helped, but it caused a large gap in the ankle area, leading to a dented, crinkled look.
Height Comparison: Compared to another pair of boots by Vince, the Wide Wally boots have a 3.5-inch taller shaft, making them an ideal choice for taller women (5’6″ and above).
Who Are These Boots For?
The Wide Wally Boots are a standout for tall women who love knee-high styles. Their wide fit makes them a natural pairing with skinny jeans, especially when styled with an oversized blazer to keep proportions balanced. However, if your calves measure over 15.5 inches in circumference, these might not be the perfect fit. If you have calves thinner than 13 inches, the regular Wally Boot should work for you!
